Medioevo greco (MEG) is a peer-reviewed journal published yearly and devoted to the history and literature of the Byzantine millennium. It welcomes scholarly contributions in English, French, German, Greek, Italian, Spanish, in the form of articles, documents and short notes.

Significant research articles are invited on all topics related to the Byzantine history, literature and philology.
Contributors are requested to submit electronic versions of their manuscripts in both «.doc» and «.pdf» format, either as email attachments (send to: enrico.maltese@unito.it OR maltese@savonaonline.it) or on disk (send to: Enrico V. Maltese – «MEG», Università degli Studi di Torino, Dipartimento di Studi Umanistici, Via S. Ottavio 20, I-10124 Torino).
All articles submitted will be anonymously peer-reviewed by two referees (either members of the journal's international review committee or experts in the field of the paper), and once approved will be published.
BOOKS FOR REVIEW
Medioevo greco also publishes review articles and short reviews of current scholarly work in the field of Byzantine studies, broadly defined to include all aspects of the history and literature of the Byzantine millennium, from the Late Antiquity to the Renaissance. It is our practice to publish short summaries of all books received and complete reviews of selected books.

The Editors of Medioevo greco are
- responsible for deciding which of the articles submitted to the journal should be published;
- in force regarding issues of plagiarism, libel, copyright infringement;
- engaged to evaluate manuscripts for their intellectual content without regard to gender, race, nationality and citizenship, religious belief, sexual preferences, ethnic origin, or political philosophy of the authors.
Medioevo greco requests all Authors
- to submit original articles (i.e., pieces of original research). If a previous version of the submitted text has already been published (as a poster, presentation, or the like), authors should mention it with related details upon submission of their papers;
- not to submit their manuscripts to other journals simultaneously;
- to avoid literary and scientific plagiarism in all its forms;
- to provide the Journal with all necessary explanations about existing conflicts of interest;
- to follow copyright in using images, plates, maps and the like;
- to disclose in their manuscript all sources of financial support for their research.
Medioevo greco requests all Reviewers to be committed to
- work objectively and provide a fair assessment, avoiding personal criticism of the Author and her/his opinions;
- assist the Editors in making editorial decisions;
- help the Author improving the article
